Door Decorating Contest
Our school had a holiday door decorating contest during December. This was my contribution to the art room door. I created a giant gingerbread house with various pieces of candy and a friendly gingerbread man.

Content Board and Grade Level Banners
We all know that anchor charts are a huge part of a classroom. I believe that they should be separated by content. To add a little bit of color above the bulletin boards, I created these Content Board and Grade Level Banners and added them to my Teachers Pay Teachers Store. The banners can be pieced together on ribbon for display. The sets include triangle pieces to assemble the following words: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Word Wall Daily Five, CAFE, Art. P.E., Physical Education, Music, Computers, Library, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth. These designs match my Word Wall Headers.
Word Wall Headers Download
I recently added new Word Wall Headers to my Teachers Pay Teachers store. These are sets of colorful, round alphabet labels to use for your classroom word wall. There are five different styles to choose from to add a splash of color to your room. Click on the links below to download. These sets also match my Content Board and Grade Level Banners.

Our Class Christmas Tree
Here is our class Christmas tree that the kids decorated. I made the ornaments a few years ago by printing pictures of book covers. I laminated them and hot glued a hook on. The kids loved finding places to hang them on the tree.

Classroom Christmas Tree
The students decorated our classroom Christmas Tree this week. They took such pride in placing the ornaments just right on the tree. The ornaments are copies of our favorite picture books that I printed, laminated, and glued a hook on.

Red Ribbon Week - Door Decorations
Last week was Red Ribbon Week at our school. First grade decorated with the theme "First Graders 'Clothes' The Door on Drugs." Each class decorated their door with a different type of clothing and saying. Our class decorated with cowboy boots and our saying was "We give drugs the boot!"
